ElChalten è un piccolo paesino di montagna situato nella Patagonia argentina. El Chalten è popolato da circa 1.000 abitanti ed è considerato la capitale del trekking argentino. LagunaTorre: El Chaltén Day Hike to Fitz Roy. Distance: 24km (15mi) Elevation: 1768 ft; Duration: 6-7 hrs; Another beautiful hike to see Cerro Fitz Roy but much easier in my opinion. I liked seeing more variety in landscape on this hike, as well. The terrain is pretty easy, a slight climb as your approach Lago Torre, and there’s a glacier!
